Ed Coan is the G.O.A.T of powerlifting and if you don't know that then go punch his name in any search engine. He has done so many amazing things in the sport of powerlifting it would tax my fat finger to type it all. He was one of the lifters I looked up to when I was coming of the ranks of powerlifting. When I finally got meet him I could not believe what an amazing person he was on top of being an amazing lifter. I listened to all and any advice he had. I even had his VHS training tape. He was such an inspiration and help to me I wanted to do a shirt as a kind of honor to that. Open that Taint was something I often heard him say and with damn good reason. Ed Coan is a truly legend of the sport for both his accomplishment in lifting and how much he has given back to the sport.
